After many minutes of agonising over the the best way to introduce myself to the internet, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s impossible to write a concise, witty and intelligent-sounding paragraph about myself, so I won’t try to.
First thing you should know about me: I talk. A lot. I have been likened to a foghorn. There’s far too many things in my head on a daily basis to come out of my noise-hole, so this blog is my outlet. If you’re looking for searing insights into the state of the world and its cultures, this is not the place for you. If, however, you are looking for searing insight into the mind of me, a moderately insane teenager, then read away!
I’m a 19 year old girl with anxiety and panic disorder which I’ve worked very hard to control over the past few years. Currently I’m at Royal Holloway, University of London working towards a BSc in Zoology (you may notice that I love animals). Hopefully I’ll take this on to a Masters and PhD, but my life could go anywhere and I’m bad at diaries so this blog is my way of keeping track of things.
When I’m not enjoying the unlimited heating and carpeted floors of university, I live in what is quite possibly the wettest part of England in a dilapidated ex-cider farm with my parents, three dogs (Collie, Border Terrier, Boxer), seven cats (Common Mogs), a pony (Welsh Section A) and one younger brother (Irritant). Most of my holidays are spent in a hidden gem of a house in the Cevennes region of France and the area is gorgeous, so photos will abound!
